Amanda Storey recently joined the Bass family and comes to us with more than 25 years in the industry. A graduate of Roffler Hair College, Amanda has extensive experience with precisions haircuts and varying color and highlighting techniques. She loves helping clients achieve their desired look and customizing hair designs to accentuate their natural beauty. Making people feel the best version of themselves is her goal with each experience.
Summer Sheldon joined the Bass team in the Fall of 2018. After graduating Chattahoochee Technical College, Summer has gained extensive experience in men and women's precision haircuts, as well as color and highlight services. She loves to keep current with trending styles, such as balyage and ombre. When she's not in the salon, she loves being in the garden and can often be caught posting videos of her chickens on Instagram.
Sonia Kooser joined the salon in the summer of 2014 with more than 17 years experience. She began in Virginia Beach and has worked throughout the country, with her most recent stop being in Winsor, CA where she learned unique coloring techniques such as Ombre and Balyage. Sonia is certified in Keune Color and has education from Pureology, Redken and Sebastian. She specializes in all color services, as well as men and women's haircuts. She is currently on a hiatus from the salon.
Mallori Hester graduated from Roffler Hair School in 2009 and joined Bass Hair Salon immediately afterwards. Since becoming a stylist, she has continued her education with various opportunities, both in and out of the salon. Her extended training includes color workshops from Schwarzkopf and Keune, and cutting classes with Surface Hair Care and F.H.I. Mallori regularly attends hair shows in the southeast, and specializes in both men and women’s hair care.
Christy Keller, a long time client of Bass, began her career here in 2002, shortly after graduating from Chattahoochee Technical College. She is a master cosmetologist and has also attended classes at Roffler Hair College to master her barber skills. Since becoming a hairdresser, Christy has continued her education with various classes, including Paul Mitchell cut and color classes, Alterna cutting classes, and Keune color certification.
Charlene Knight has been a stylist for more than fifteen years and has made Bass her home since then. Initially receiving her education from Roffler Hair College, she has continued her training through the years to include cutting classes by Paul Mitchell, as well as color training with Keune, Scruples and Schwarzkopf. Charlene specializes in men and women’s precision hair cutting, color, highlights, and facial waxing. She is currently only accepting returning request clients.
Jerry Potts specializes in precision haircutting for men and women. He likes the challenge of finding solutions for problem hair and hair loss. He has more than 30 years of hair styling experience and has received more than 35 awards. Jerry participated on three USA teams in International competitions, winning two gold medals, a silver and bronze. He has competed in hairstyling competitions on regional, national, and international levels and has taught hair design on the international level.
